Clean thoughts

What makes a thought clean?

What makes an object or a surface clean? Does the process of applying a cleaning solution and some elbow grease a method that will clean anything?

Do humans naturally have “clean” thoughts? Is the brain clear and focused naturally? As we “grow up”, if we are not intentional about clarity, do our minds gravitate toward clutter and chaos?

Existing on a remote island with a small tribe of perfect humans may be the only way that our thinking could be clean without applying a “cleaning solution” and some “elbow grease”. What “cleaning solution” may work - meditation, prayer, therapy? Is “elbow grease” the discipline to meditate or pray or the dedication to “do the work” if therapy is the cleaning solution you select? Bottom line, humans must work to achieve and to maintain clean thoughts.

If you find yourself reverting to patterns of thought that do not serve your current self, what will you do to clean up your thoughts?
