Get along
As we continue to move through the “Get Series” we notice that getting it done, especially getting it done right, requires collaboration. We must get along with others to achieve excellence. Similar to how the “Wheel of Life” highlights areas out of balance, we may notice something out of balance if we do not “get along” with others.
In the Bible, David’s humble, reconciliatory, loyal, and kind nature paved the way for harmony in his life, despite his challenges and temptations. Similarly, humans who develop the ability to initiate and exchange rich, mutually satisfying relationships with others while maintaining their own personal dignity will reach new heights of success.
Call to action: Be disciplined about noticing what you are saying. Respect those not in your presence. Imagine they are there and can hear every word you say about them. Compromise. See the world from other people’s point of view. Get along!
