Get it done
David, a man after God’s own heart, got it done repeatedly throughout the Bible using the powerful combination of faith in God and action. From facing Goliath to leading a nation with kindness, David consistently relied on faith in God and never once considered failure as an option.
Like David, we must consistently approach each moment as a new opportunity instead of clouding it with what happened in the past. We must know our desire outcome, decide what to do, notice what we are gaining, and change our approach when necessary; failure is not an option. Fear can be the biggest trap of inaction - pain/rejection/the unknown. Often we do not follow through because we do not know what we want. Sometimes, when we know, we allow fear to get in the way. Find a role model, such as David, who is successful, and reflect on their actions and successes.
Call to Action: Get it done! Once you wake up, grow up, clean up, and begin to show up you will continue to set goals with measurable actions. Steps to make your next goal a reality will become clear.
