clean language

Is your language “Spic N Span”?

Would a “Magic Eraser” come in handy at times to remove something that “slipped out” during a conversation?

Clean thoughts are a prerequisite for clean language. Much like the old saying about what comes out of the toothpaste tube when it is is squeezed, what comes out of our mouths when the pressures of life intersect a conversation, especially one that can be emotionally charged, is exactly what is in us! Do we need to “Resolve” some issues in our thinking to clean up the language we use to communicate?

Our words reflect our inner self. Proverbs 18: 21 says “Death and life are in the power of the tongue, and those who love it will eat its fruit.” Do we slowly destroy relationships with careless words or do we carefully select our words to edify those we interact with on a regular basis? Ephesians 4:29 reminds us “Do not let any unwholesome talk come out of your mouths, but only what is helpful for building others up.”

Listen to the words you speak today and decide if you need the power of “Scrubbing Bubbles” to scrub away some hurtful exchanges or are you a “Fanstastik” communicator?
